Is the alignment off at all? You mentioned it would drive on lift off and torque steer on full throttle, and that wasn't my experience on their track.

Germany and most of Europe, in general, are much more progressive than the U.S. in regard to EVs and charging infrastructure. So many more EV models are available than we have in the U.S.

Wow, truly an amazing car and hotel. The hotel rate seems seriously low compared to what we see in the US.

Dream Hotel Room for a Car junky

At 1:17:10 and 1:36:10 This is mostly because of the terrible soft sidewall of the Michelin Pilot sport 4s. That tire itself really ruins the steering feel of the Porsche. Gives you the feeling of low tire pressure and worn out suspension bushings. Steering precision, quickness and feedback is much much better with the other factory tire, the Pirelli PZ4. Yes , hydraulic steering is better for feel, but the Porsche steering is better with a better tire than you had tested.

Just curious as to the break in period noted. I have never heard of a 1200 mile break in period. Where can I check out more info on this? I own a Cayman GTS 4.0 and took delivery middle of Winter here in NY. I’m about to get out on the road so I’m curious as to the break in period as dealer didn’t mention any at all.

Was that one of those crazy V12 TDI Q7s we don't get?

If I had to guess about the sliding glass door with a glass wall behind it, I'd wager that the hotel was built as a normal hotel with a normal balcony with a sliding glass door to get to it - then they added the car elevator and because not all cars are EVs, they had to add fume-separation, so they added the solid wall and the "airlock" double swinging doors.

I don't think it was a Autobahn at minute 6:00. Autobahns have blue signs while federal highways (Bundesstraßen) have yellow signs. The speed limit on federal highways is 100 km/h.

After a charging session with ending battery temp at 45c and sports plus setting for the extra cooling , my Taycan shut off the ac to increase car performance. Anyone get this before?

If you miss a connecting flight, this hotel is one of the options. Lufthansa gives you a voucher for. I highly recommend you use it nice hotel good buffet breakfast even if you’re not bringing a car

The low-light performance of the handheld/phone camera is terrible. Love the content but I’m kinda picky about quality

That hotel is Crazy! Wow. Only problem is if the elevator breaks. I would feel so uncomfortable with no other way to get my car out.

Ive driven both, you summarise it really well. The Emira is more special and as a second car would be my pick. But I went for the Porsche. My GTS is my only car though (don’t do many miles for work) and I did feel the reliability, practicality, dealer network supported a more ‘sensible’ decision. Great review
